Bio
I am currently a Max Planck Fellow at the Albert Einstein Institute, where I work on analytical methods at the interface of gravitational self-force and post-Newtonian theory.
I completed my PhD in Physics at Cornell University in 2025 under the supervision of Professor Éanna Flanagan. During my doctoral research, I worked on two main projects in gravitational theory. The first involved developing mathematical methods to separate conservative effects, which preserve the system's energy, from dissipative effects, which lead to energy loss through gravitational radiation. The second focused on developing systematic methods to describe how an object's own gravitational field influences its motion, particularly when nonlinear gravitational interactions make the problem mathematically challenging.
Before moving to Cornell, I completed my Licenciatura in Physics (equivalent to a Bachelor's and Master's degree) at the University of Buenos Aires, where I studied quantum phase transitions in ferromagnetic materials under the supervision of Professor Daniel Cabra.
